Originally from Gainesville, Virginia, Amry attended Shenandoah Conservatory as a Music Production & Recording Technology Major with an emphasis in classical saxophone.  Shortly after, she interned at Blackbird Studios where she learned the in's and outs of the daily operations of the recording industry. While at Blackbird, Amry was offered to be an Assistant Engineer to a Disney Project for Tokyo Disney where it landed her an opportunity to work at one of Nashville's recording studios. Amry is now a staff engineer at Sound Emporium Studios where she is learning all the ins and outs of becoming a well rounded engineer and working along side some of the industries best! Amry has worked with several different consoles including the API Legacy, SSL Duality, Neve, Avid S6, Beringer X-32, DiGiCo SD9, and the Otari MTR 90 tape machine. She is also proficient in softwares like Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Microsoft Office Suite, and Final Cut Pro with certifications in Pro Tools and Dante Level I. Amry has also had personal experience with her skills by being a Live Stream/Sound Consultant at Leeds Episcopal Church in Hume, Virginia for their weekly sermons. Amry offers on site recordings for clients and has applied her knowledge to give the consumer a high quality recording. Amry is dedicated to her work and is very passionate about creating awareness about women in audio and allowing that to let her soar into new heights. She believes it's beneficial to create safe spaces for people to really dive into their craft and make it easier for the client to get into that state of mind to perform their best.
